Toll in Moldova
All foreign-registered vehicles are required to have a valid e-vignette when entering Moldova. This category applies to passenger cars with a maximum permissible weight of up to 3.5 t, used for private or business purposes.

This category applies to buses with a seating capacity between 9 and 24 seats, including the driver.
Bus (> 24 seats)
This category covers buses with more than 24 seats, including the driver.
Van (≤ 3.5 t)
This category covers vans and light commercial vehicles with a maximum permissible weight of up to 3.5 t.
Truck (3.5 – 10 t)

Heavy vehicles are also required to have a valid e-vignette before using public roads in Moldova. The obligation applies to all trucks and road tractors, with or without trailers, based on gross vehicle weight. Two weight categories apply:

No. Transit traffic is not exempt. A valid e-vignette is required even when passing through Moldova on the way to Romania or Ukraine. Border police and road authorities check vehicle registrations. Vehicles without a valid e-vignette can be refused entry or fined at the border.
Driving in Moldova without a valid e-vignette is considered a traffic offence. Fines range from approximately €120 to €450, depending on the duration and severity of the violation. Vehicles can also be stopped at border checkpoints until the fine is settled.
